seattle/portland has a ton of clouds/rain most of the year and lower daylight hours and i'm scared i'll get more depressed than i already am chicago has brutal winters phoenix is too hot austin is texas nyc/sf/boston is too expensive

yeah it gets unbearably hot during the summer, but i don't really have to think twice about the weather. i can just go throw on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt (and a hoodie if it's cold) and go outside. having actual seasons would be kinda nice tho
