Despite having a degree of nostalgia for Firefly, I can’t help thinking that the Expanse already did everything I would have wanted from a Firefly expansion, and for the most part did it better

Amos is a deeper analogue of Jayne. Clarissa Mao’s storyline does the exploration of the after-effects of illegal supersoldier augmentation. Prax and Mei as the strays the crew can’t help but take in… etc
