greetings, BlueSky! "Trumpy" was a creation of the late Dærick Gröss, Sr back in Trump's first term. it only seems right to bring it back here and now, looking forward to the day none of these cartoons are relevant anymore. Dærick would have been sad to have to do more of these...

the point was always to highlight Trump's shortcomings as a President and focus on the person and his collection of misfits and oddballs. the strip was never about left/right policies or tribal/party divisions... just this specific man and the absurdity of everything he is, says, and does.

the strip only lasted through the end of Trump's first term, and Dærick Sr. passed away before Trump was re-elected. we here at Studio G feel it is time to bring this cartoon back (plus other relevant D Sr. cartoons from time to time).

our idea is to sort through the 120+ strips from the first term and repost here the relevant ones that still have a point to make. if we can maintain the quality of Dærick Sr's brilliant artistic skill at cartooning, we will endeavor to create new strips as well, relevant to Trump's new term.
