The 2025 State of HTML survey is out 2025.stateofhtml.com And I love the opening stat — Lazy Loading FTW! Built-in, simple to use, attributes and elements are HTML's super power. And you can see that reflect in other attributes with the largest increase (details/summary, dialog, fetchpriority!)

I talked about this more in the beginning of my @perfnow.nl talk this year: www.youtube.com/watch?v=DqE9... (on Speculation Rules—another builtin, initially simple to use feature in HTML!)
On developer.chrome.com/docs/web-pla... you talk about the risk of an outdated prerendered ecommerce checkout. Will prerender_until_script mitigate this problem?
If the checkout page is based on server-side data included in the HTML page, then no it wouldn't. If it's client-side rendered based on JavaScript API calls that now won't be made until activation when the script runs, then yes it should (but at the cost of no full prerender).

An alternative way of handling this, that is available now, is clear-site-data, which can be returned on any "update basket" API calls. An even better way is to use Broadcast Channel to update the prerender, so you still benefit from the prerender! developer.chrome.com/docs/web-pla...
