Meta hit with its BIGGEST FINE EVER → A fine bigger than some countries GDP! 🤯 A judge in New Mexico has ordered Zuck's Meta to pay $25 BILLION after a trial found it had lied to the public about how user data was handled. It's great to see that New Mexico is holding Big Tech accountable. 👏

actually, in addition to the fine, Meta should be destroying data they deceivingly collected. Otherwise, they will continue to benefit from it.

Zuck and his fellow big tech oligarchs are too big for their boots. They need taking down a peg and required to have due regard to public interest not just private interest and profit.

Are AI executives begging for immunity from damage they created? A post on another social media site asked: Are AI executives who understand the shortfalls of AI knowingly making false claims and therefore defrauding their customers and investors? The post was taken down and the user was banned.

Fun thing for me is that I was early to the party when Facebook first introduced their account deletion option. I wanted to test it and it worked - haven't touched that site since. Though whether the data has truly been deleted … maybe I should send them a GDPR request.

A friend told me about My Space in 2005 or so, tried it, thought it was stupid, so I deleted. Never even tried Facebook, and I am so glad of that. anyways.... CORPORATE DEATH PENALTY NOW!!!!!!!
