Have you guys ever used Perl? In Perl there is a thing called "taint" where any string coming from the outside is marked as tainted and you need special handling to deal with it. It would be handy in TS too

ooo now that WOULD be handy 🤔 at a bare minimum you could make a Taint<> generic but actual handling might be neat (especially at runtime)

In Perl any time you use an operator on a tainted string the result is a tainted string. In TS it could just be a type and input from io could return a tainted string. You would need a function or an operator to untaint a string.
