My city put up flock cameras. I just wrote our mayor about it. Plaintext below. ⬇️

Mayor Backus, I live on Lea Hill. I noticed the Flock cameras installed here. How is the city fixing Flock’s data security deficiencies?  Each camera on our streets is running an unpatched version of Linux from 2018. They leak their passwords. Unauthorized access is common. (1/3)

Fun fact: I live at the bottom of Lea hill! Sometimes I walk to work at the middle school on the hill! Where are the cameras located specifically? So when I walk to work I can wave
