Before Casa Pueblo installed solar panels and storage in a grocery store, monthly power bills were ~$600. Now, they get $50-60 back from surplus energy. In Adjuntas, they have installed ~400 photovoltaic systems which meet 25%-100% of the energy needs of many residences & businesses.

Casa Pueblo is creating a microgrid ecosystem where many localities are connected, allowing places without solar to receive energy for their own development, climate adaptation, & to address an unjust energy model that has victimized a large part of the Puerto Rican people.
