I realize driving can get boring and we all want to use our time effectively but talking on the phone (hands-free or not) while driving is way more dangerous than you think.

I noticed some time ago that if I have an extended phone conversation while driving, whether hands free or not, afterward I *do not remember anything else that happened* during that portion of the drive. That was very eye-opening about what it means for my mental state.
