I had requested it a little while ago but it seems that someone else had requested the same thing, with a whopping 50 day response time Thankfully, they requested even more information than I did so let's have a look through and see what use cases are currently being experimented with

The cases below are generally "We want to throw LLMs at something" rather than technical machine learning use cases, which there are a number of Unfortunately, the documents are also image scans so they can't be searched through very easily

ACC would like to understand if LLMs can be used to assist in identifying documents that require redactions

Auckland Transport is using LLMs to assist staff in setting and managing goals for their performance development plans

Bay of Plenty Regional Council would like to use AI to analyse public submissions

Department of Corrections would like to *checks notes* use LLMs to reduce repetitive work to allow more time for meaningful work I just included this one because I thought it was the least veiled attempt at checking the "Yes, we're using AI for something" box

Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) are using LLMs to identify potentially harmful language within the National Library collection descriptions

DPMC are using LLMs to prepare first drafts of briefings and other strategy documents
