Howdy, #HorrorWritersChat. I'm Artemis Quinn, and I write dark fantasy and supernatural horror (and war, funny enough) My favorite depiction of war in horror is probably the Underworld series with the war between the vampires and werewolves. Though, I find I don't consume much centering around war.

And there you are again. With a blink, flames scythe across the copse, now a deep trench. Explosions rattle your skull, blurring your vision. Your hand is heavy. With his head. Again. Tell us who you are, what do you write, and what is your favourite depiction of war in horror? #HorrorWritersChat

Yes, I feel similiarly with prose. I just don't see how anything could surpass the horror of, let's say, This Is a Man, or the poetry of Isaac Rosenberg. If I was to 'do' fictional war, I think I'd have to do it in the deep past or the VERY far future on far flung planets.
