It feels like I’m in the future right now at this exact moment. - 3d printing a white picket fence for my wife’s bird feeder - one handed typing into my IDE’s chat and it’s going and doing things for me - baby is asleep on my shoulder

The AI agent thing isn’t even being super smart and I keep having to say “no do this instead” but idc I have a baby asleep on me so I’m still only typing like 10 words for every 20 lines of code it writes.

It feels a little bit like running a robot vacuum. Can I do a better job? Yes. Can I do a better job while also doing something else I’d rather be doing? No.
