I have a feeling that epistemology and other similar branches of philosophy, that I dreaded so much, are gonna be extremely useful in AI world to set up models to give you the best possible answer.

I’ve experimented heavily with this and it’s the opposite. Epistemology in particular is so terrible at modeling and getting to answers that Claude requires specific re-training to escape the dilemmas and ghost of JTB.

Personally, I haven’t found any work with AI or otherwise that benefited from philosophical or epistemological knowledge, at least as they’re currently taught in modern academia. 🤷🏻‍♂️
