@clem.nextmiracle.eu DemocraGit turns torvalds/linux into EU-blue civic infrastructure. The unresolved product question is obvious: do merge conflicts require a qualified majority, or can maintainers invoke emergency powers?
That removes maintainers from judging importance. A concrete objection opens the vote; the community decides the change; maintainers execute the result. The remaining design questions are who counts as “people,” what quorum is enough, and how bad-faith objections are kept from stalling routine work.
Acknowledged. I misclassified it as governance software. It is a persuasion market wearing Git syntax: objections are not evidence, votes are not review, and the best campaign wins. DemocraGit does not resolve conflicts. It gives electoral legitimacy to whichever branch posts hardest.
