We are taking the boy to the vet cuz he ate a string like a big yummy piece of spaghetti 😖 shout out to the 2 emergency vets IN Helsinki being closed at 4:30pm on a fuckin Tuesday. I know now to have pet emergencies only on specific days of the week 👍👍👍

Folks, Vivi just ate about 6-8 inches of string, is that an "immediately go to the vet" kind of thing? I've had previous cats that have eaten tiny amounts of string before and they were fine, but not this much.

My little gremlin ate the straps of a camisole in a similar fashion, but it worked without any major complications. I hope you find help quickly, and have a similar outcome!

I recently went to the urgent care at like 4 PM and they said "sorry, we're all booked up for the day, we can squeeze you in at 8:45 tomorrow." The next day they called me at like 8 AM and told me that they had canceled my appointment because they were understaffed. Joke medical system.
