Ok, so for a pretty decent production application I have, on Vue 3, there seems that build output size is slightly improved :) and, interestingly, memory consumption has gone from ~80MB down to ~45-60MB. (However, could be because I’ve gone from v10 to v12)

Thanks for testing out! Indeed, we removed some compatibility code for Vue 2 and make the code a bit slimmer.
