Ghislaine Maxwell invoked the Fifth Amendment during her deposition before a U.S. House committee, with her attorneys saying she will only testify (lie) to clear Trump if he grants her a pardon.

Ain't gonna work. There's no incentive for either of trump to grant it now even her to accept it. For the time being, I think 5A is her best shot at avoiding 💉 bsky.app/profile/jill...

It just occurred to me, that Ghislaine Maxwell's angling for a pardon, while almost irresistible bait 4 the 🍊 would eliminate her 5A protections from testifying - she could then be jailed for contempt or prosecuted for perjury. Worse, it would make that testimony available to State prosecutors. 1/

She is a naturalized citizen who's citizenship should be revoked due to her criminal conviction. Why aren't we threatening her with a nice little cell in El Salvador if she doesn't want to speak.

She knows it all. 2006: Trump referred to Maxwell as "evil" and urged investigators to "focus on her" in a phone call to Palm Beach Police. In 2020, he told reporters, "I just wish her well, frankly". He reiterated this sentiment multiple times, noting he had met her "numerous times" over the years.
