Was hoping there would be a mention of gravity batteries. I think they're an interesting answer to this question.

I have seen calculations that showed that gravity batteries must be gigantic to actually be meaningful. I agree it sounds smart but pumping water up to a reservoir is a better alternative.

As we go backwards in the US with Trump’s policies, the world is moving forward. Everyone sees the benefits except republicans. Even China invested so much in clean energy. The U.S. is going to be buried.
