In the future Americans will get used to the higher prices and forget that things were much cheaper a few years ago?

He can’t be “grappling” with it if he is isolated in a bubble with people telling him that it is not happening.

Grappling? Come on. He’s pushing through policies (specifically tariffs) that are causing costs to increase. Voters have every reason to be impatient

‘Has failed to deliver’ is a much better way of saying ‘is still grappling with stubbornly high consumer costs’. Similarly, instead of ‘patience’ you could try ‘Struggling to eat and keep a roof over their head’ 🤷🏻‍♂️
