The fertility rate in the U.S. fell to a historic low in 2025 as fewer young women had babies, according to federal data. The downward trend has been a political flash point in recent years, with conservatives expressing worry and others applauding it. https://wapo.st/4tCUm86

We've had less than replacement fertility rates for 50 years. Our population has grown primarily due to immigration. Halting immigration won't make women have more babies. Social policy such as universal healthcare, paid maternity leave and subsidized childcare might.

This headline is a new low you fucking creeps. “The American right vocally unhappy teenage girls aren’t having more babies” would be more honest. God, the water this rag carries for Nazi perverts has no limit.

Because the country is really leaning in on policies to help families raise health kids (healthcare? child care? college/university fees? housing? environment? sane vaccination policies? banning books? cutting educational funding? I could go on and on. Instead building monuments to Dear Leader.

Nobody wants your jewish terrorist babies, not even if you radiation attack everyone else into cancer and infertility. Cheap Rothsvhild crime tribe tactics are not working, you just proved why they should not have kids with mass murdering satanists.

Miscarriage can lead to murder charges. Necessary OB practices are criminalized. Healthcare is unaffordable. AI likely to displace swaths of workforce and we already fail to feed and house everyone. Young people don’t have the income for a baby and older adults can’t afford ivf. The earth is dying.

Who can afford to have kids nowadays? You have millions upon millions of people who work just to subsist while a sliver of the population takes all the money.

Average childcare for infants is approaching $15,000 a year, which is about the same as someone making federal minimum wage, $7.25 an hour, if they worked 40 hours for 52 weeks. Of course there are other living costs like rent, health care, food, utilities, transportation, insurance etc.
