Wait - you're saying that Comey was a political operative and acted on a political basis when he did his investigation? You're normalizing trump's behavior - shame on you.

Memo to Washington Post: James Comey is not a political foe of the president. He is a former Department of Justice official who investigated Donald Trump as part of his job. This is a personal vendetta launched by Trump because he's angry about the government investigating his criminal activities.

Has anyone asked him if he regrets his act of election interference yet? Or if he appreciates the irony that, had he not compromised himself and his agency, he'd probably be retired and kinda obscure and living in a first-world nation?

I wonder if he regrets the decision he made to interfere in the 2016 election by publicly reopening the bogus email investigation into Clinton days before Election Day. It’s an interesting case study in how abetting authoritarians doesn’t spare you from them.

If it wasn’t already this should make his malicious prosecution lawsuit a slam dunk. And I say that as someone who has no use whatsoever for Jim Comey.

"a prominent political foe of the president" Trump is literally in power because Comey rigged the first election for him.
