After using a #Chromebook as my daily driver for many years, I wanted to start weaning myself off of #Google. My new desktop is powered by #Linux Mint, running on a teeny-tiny mini PC. Still using files on Google Drive for backwards compatibility. Works quite well!

Saw your setup, because I use #Linux MINT 22, and saw the photo. That's nice! Also, because I fiddle around with websites of my own, and anyway, I liked what I saw, so I followed you. Heck, I might learn something one day.

I just put the last piece in place, a new webcam. Now I can put the Chromebook away and get back to work, 8 days since the new PC was delivered.

Well, I wish I could say MY workspace looked as nice and neat as yours, but —- well, I’m a writer, so there’s that, and my tequila glasses are sitting there. I run #Linux on my Dell Desktop, and still #Windows 11 on my laptop…..I really want to get away from the Windows, but can’t yet.
