Does the progressive rendering feature also support intentionally only loading a fraction, like for thumbnails? So you can prioritize the first X% of each image and then load the rest afterwards

I'm thinking some combination of HTML property plus JS controls. Or at least a method for JS to check loading progress from the client end to feed back to the server so it knows when to start sending more.
