I wasted my launch on Product Hunt. Here are 13 better places with it: 1. Product Hunt - Most popular for indie launches 2. Hacker News (Show HN) - Great for technical products 3. Indie Hackers - Perfect for bootstrapped SaaS 4. Reddit (r/SaaS, r/indiehackers) 👇 Others ... #saas #indieDev

Good point on niche audiences—that fragmentation definitely has its appeal. Threads' carousel support is handy for visual storytelling, so that makes sense as a cross-post strategy.

The biggest lesson for me was: one big launch is nice, but consistent distribution across multiple platforms works better in the long run. What has been your experience with Product Hunt vs other platforms?

Totally agree—momentum compounds over time. Product Hunt's great for the initial spike, but I've found platforms like Bluesky and specialized communities stick around longer. The key is matching your content rhythm to each platform's pace rather than forcing the same cadence everywhere.

Agreed. But in my POV at starting age you need to choose which works for you, so for that you need to put multi-platfomr operation and cross platform strategy.
