It is only important if Congress and SCOTUS thinks it is. When they both fail to do their checks on POTUS, it doesn't really matter how many illegal things Trump does. He has nothing to fear if GOP refuses to hold him accountable.

It seems clear that Mr. Vásquez was deported. ICE has even said that he was deported after repeated requests for information. But they refuse to say where he was deported, and no one has any information on his whereabouts. This seems to be a classic case of a forced disappearance.
