There are many reports here in Europe from illegal breeding factories. No rules and no vet oversight. Puppies sold too young, not dewormed, no vaccines etc. Then, at least to a police report which I read once, the breeders pick families with children, and put them under emotional stress

thank you, i appreciate this. i am also concerned that chubbz was the product of unethical breeding given how much trouble he seems to have supporting himself. but that certainly wouldn't be the fault of an adopted family either
