The half-plugged USB trick is such a good reminder that on these devices, the boot path can matter more than the Android software itself. Getting a shell is one thing; figuring out the exact boot mode and hardware variant without writing to the wrong partition is where the real work starts.

Thanks! I got the Aimor version yesterday and banged on it for a while. Learned some new tricks (the half-plugged USB boot 🤯) but had to call it a day.
