For those of you reading who have tried vibe code, or used claude code snippets even, etc; Its okay to just stop if you feel its wrong now, you dont have to double down. We aren't going to witch hunt. We just want a healthier industry continued to be made by Human beings.

I promise you learning to code is very rewarding its the coolest thing I taught myself how to do over the last 9 years now My first job out of college was at an Marketing Agency, doing 3D webGL stuff Thats how i got my toes wet

This whole Ai thing hit at such a bad time. In 2017 I learned javascript as my first language, and ive been learning since. I would not know C++ & be comfortable with it if I used Ai coding tools. You just legit stop learning. It stops becoming fun.

I cant name names, but I know people who have. And instead of going "ya know, its making me dumb, im gonna stop" They double down, they become accelerationists. It's okay to admit we tried it, and now its time to reflect.

i tried it, admitedly way before claude was such a big deal, or even a thing, really. i'd write some code in gdscript, shove it into, i think it was microsoft's ai, and prompt it with what i need the code to do. and it'd do it. and it worked even.

then i started thinking about other things i needed and how all the systems would interact with each other, and how what ai wrote is a band aid over a core issue i had no idea how to solve yet

at which point i realized that i learned nothing, understood nothing and have 0 chance in hell to scale unless i just make ai write the whole thing for me and hope for the best. havent as much as asked ai to find me a forum posts or search docs for me since.
