Honored to be named a 2026 Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate. Every day 125 Americans are shot and killed, and twice that many are wounded. Gun violence is now the leading cause of death for children in the United States, and it impacts every community. 🧵

As a father of two young kids, I know the fear of sending your kids off to school and wondering if they'll be safe. In Congress, I served on the Gun Violence Prevention Task Force and co-sponsored legislation for universal background checks and to ban assault weapons.

As your next DA, I’ll put the full weight of my office against those who use guns to commit violent crime and will keep fighting for red flag laws. Thanks to @momsdemandaction.org for the recognition, and for the work you do every day.
