Ugh. Residential proxy networks are the worst. Someone decides to crawl our archives at a rate of 8x our normal traffic rate (happening now), and we can't block by IP.

Attack seems over now. I am grateful that I was able to use claude (via trellis.dev) to help deal with this. It was a stressful situation; having a non-emotional foil that I could bounce ideas off of and have do research and compile data was extremely valuable. And stress reducing.
