compaction is the MIND KILLER!!!

I keep finding that for anything mildly complex I need at least like 400K context I get that context rot starts catching up at some point But compaction with Claude Opus 4.6 on Copilot with the 200K model hurts WAY MORE than rot on Claude Code at ~400K or even ~600K with the 1M model in my exp
