It seems that despite the auto industry’s obsession with software-defined vehicles, many car purchasers would forego any number of digital doohickeys, so long as there was enough room in their new cars for multiple Big Gulps.

I have two issues with my new Mercedes: 1)the flashing screens are confusing and distracting, and 2)You can't fit two drinks in the front holders at once. If I have my water bottle, I can't put my coffee cup. I'd give up lots of the techie for more gulp space.

A dashboard that you can actually store stuff on instead of shit flying off the second you tap the brakes or accelerate. Remember the cars of old where you had cigs, maps, gun, a couple bottles, etc. hanging out at all times on the dash for easy access?

People are sick of the rip off gimmicks... we want cars that are basic and really well built that have a charging spot for our phones and 3 or more extra cup holders.. It's really a matter of keeping it simple, people want a basic cheap car option.

They should come with a plain center console with different cup holders to pop in and out. One set for the Big Gulps in Summer, another for taller, slimmer coffee cups in the Winter. Interchangeable is the answer.

Physical buttons and knobs that are well placed with tactile feedback, good cup holders, a glasses slot, good well made vents with simple mechanical adjustment, less frame between the windows & the windshield so we don't have giant blindspots. Seats that aren't flat as a board? what's up with that?

in a very short amount of time Asia will be making all the EVs while Europe and US makers divide the larger hybrids models. (please consult your friendly auto engineer.) cupholders and other storage will continue to be drivers of satisfaction.

I want an interior designed by and for a woman. Somewhere to put my bag where I can reach it while driving and get in and out of the vehicle easily with it. Seat belt that does not hit my neck. Adjust seat high enough to see over passenger side front end. Place to clip pet restraints.
