I'm old enough to remember a world before Wikipedia and I simply don't want to go back. Of all the promises that having the Internet was supposed to fulfill, this is likely one of the biggest: a free and living encyclopedia that is both accurate and reliable.

Wikipedia is a valuable resource that I appreciate highly. I added it to my (small) annual donation list a few years ago. I don't have a lot of money so I am very selective who gets any. I am not knowledgeable enough to volunteer as an editor, but I hope that others can fulfill those needs.

"Aiming for neutrality, evaluating sources, volunteering for the public benefit, sustaining a noncommercial online project, these concepts seem at best old-fashioned ..." WTF?!
