To be fair, these checkpoints and barriers didn't exist prior to the terrorism of the second intifadah when the bus bombs and cafe bombs appeared.

To be fair prior to September 2000, there were nearly 200,000 settlers in the West Bank and nearly as many in East Jerusalem. The Israeli settlements are naked imperialism.
