I believe we can have a secure border and a clear pathway to citizenship and we can do it without a rogue, illegal agency like ICE.

Republicans killed a border bill they helped to create, which had the backing of the Border Patrol, in order to help get Trump re-elected. They're not interested in securing the border. They're interested in something they can use to create fear and hold on to power.

When you say it had the backing of USBP that should be the big red flag that tells you it was a right wing bill and never should have been proposed in the first place.
