I really hate attending trainings/presentations hosted by people who utterly lack public speaking skills. Listening to someone read from a presentation script like they're conjugating Latin straight from a 1920s textbook is absolutely the worst.

I'd actually rather listen to AI. At least AI voices emulate things like warmth, levity, emotion, and variable tempo. It's sad when a robot is more pleasant and less robotic than a human. And it makes it nearly impossible to listen/retain anything being presented.
