Hello Crushers, WorksOfMagic here! As teased a few days ago, I have some updates and special announcements to make regarding the Crush 40 Archive. The last time I shared any updates was in late May, and a lot has happened since then, so let's quickly get over that. 🧵

Last time I talked about the archive, we had a little over 110GB of archived content, ranging from audio and videos to photos. As of today, that number has more than tripled over in size, with the archive sitting comfortably at 332.1GB.

Here's a very short list of what's been 100% done: - Added every circulating recording for Crush 40's shows (2008-2018). - Added every circulating recording for Jun Senoue's shows (solo + SAME).

We still have a long way to go, as Johnny's other projects (solo, Hardline, ARP, Brunette/Killerhit) have yet to be fully covered.

As such, we're still looking for recordings of those, so if you have any, feel free to contact me at the contacts below. Even photos would be great to have. Discord: worksofmagic_ Email: worksofmagicalt@gmail.com

If you're a Crush 40 fan who's been around for a while, you probably know that today celebrates 13 years since Sonic Boom 2013 (aka @alexabperson.bsky.social's worst nightmare) has happened, an event so infamous for its stream being lost media, it still haunts Crush 40 fans to this very day.

While I sadly don't have anything of value to share for that show today, I would like to announce that I've recently started preparing my own multicam edit, which would aim at improving on the foundation of Alex's work.

An audio remaster/matrix of the show to bring it closer to official release standards is also in the early plans as I explore my options, so stay tuned for that.

Now, I wouldn't leave you guys hanging for a little under 3 months if I didn't have something big to show, and luckily for you, I do.

Premiering today in a few hours from now is the first newly found recorded Crush 40 show in over 8 years: the first of two nights at JGMF II:RE! This recording has been a long time coming, and it wouldn't have been found if it weren't for RM05 coming once again to rescue.

You can watch it as soon as it premieres at the link below: youtu.be/Qk4hS4DPQb0

A watch-party is also planned on the Crush 40 Discord about an hour after the premiere, so if you missed the premiere but would still like to watch it in good company, you are more than welcome to join us. We may even have some special surprises throughout the night.😉
