Fact #51 and the last one I think because I’m going to bed soon! I adore studio ghibli movies, and am currently getting my 5 year old nephew hooked on some of them!

Fact #50- walnut is my favorite hardwood that I use regularly, while my husband prefers sapele. So every time someone orders our favorite we say ‘see, mine’s the best!’

Fact #49- My whole family are space nerds and I really love making space art things!

Fact #48- I played the violin for 11 years in school!

Fact #47- my parents sometimes go to Florida in the winter and we’ve spent some great holidays there on the beach!

Fact #46- My grandfather played for the Cleveland Browns and had a championship ring!

Fact #45- My first car was a 1993 Ford Tempo named Carlita with a mechanized seatbelt.

Fact #44- we recently finally got a storage bookshelf big enough for all our board games, DnD stuff and magic stuff to be in one place!

Fact #43- I am a very messy artisan. I have to make sure not to wear ‘outside clothes’ when I’m working lol.

Fact #41- I am 43 years old!

Fact #42- the newest kittens are named after characters in books that have been adapted to tv/movies that my family enjoys. Jules and Rocky!

Fact #40- I have helped foster so many litters of kittens. Some with cat moms and some without.

Fact #39- I love sweet and salty together, and on that note Fritos and applesauce is an excellent snack!

Fact #38- watermelon and pomegranate are my favorite fruits

Fact -#37 I have 4 siblings, my has and has 5 siblings, and between all of them we have 7 niblings (nieces and nephews)!

Fact #36- my parents have always had at least one Labrador retriever. Their current boy is Teddy, and I refer to him as my most spoiled brother.

Fact #35- my referred caffeinated beverage is coffee with a splash of creamer, or sun tea.

Fact #34- I love trying out new things with art, and making interesting one of a kind things! However! My brief foray with resin is over, too much dust and cat hairs, I’m too messy, and I don’t really have proper ventilation for it!

My wife had a difficult pregnancy and a fast delivery, also by emergency c section, at 33.5 weeks to give birth to our triplets. And like you, a longer recovery. We spouses are mainly spectators for the pregnancy, and afterward we are able to share most of the joys and challenges of being a parent.

I think I missed a picture- here’s a wonderful cat.

Fact #32- I think the chirp/meow/purr noise cats make is the cutest thing ever.

Fact #31- I am super proud to include art and designs from other small artists, and sending them payouts is the highlight of my monthly accounting!!

Fact #30- Someone had to see if a head could fit inside this and it reminds me of the tv head people in the Saga graphic novels, which I love.

Fact #28- I enjoy watching bad sci fi movies. 😂

Fact #27- my favorite vet tech skill was learning to use the ultrasound. I did echocardiograms and full abdominal ultrasounds on dogs and cats and was very good at it!

Fact #26- My favorite backyard bird is the dark eyed junco. They come in the winter here!

Fact #25- I do not know how to burp. It just doesn’t happen and I cannot learn 😂

Fact #24- I have a birthmark on my nose. It’s faded, but was much more noticeable as a child!

Fact #23- my environmental allergies were bad enough that when I did immunotherapy shots I had to have 2 syringes each time, and when they were the worst, I had oral allergy syndrome as well! But after immunotherapy I am much improved!! Bonus- this chipmunk visited my yard for several years.

Fact #22- I love chocolate and hate mint!

Fact #21- My favorite class of DnD character to play is Druid!

Fact #20- I’ve read 18 books this year, and the most in a year that I’ve kept track of is 121 books in 2019!

Fact #19- I partially organize my biggest bookshelf by color. ☺️

Fact #18- I love playing video games! Some of my favorites are Animal Crossing New Horizons, Baldurs Gate 1-3, Hades 1&2, Subnautica, Minecraft and Stardew Valley.

Fact #17- I adore bright, vivid colors, but purple and blue/teal is my favorite combo!

Fact #16- My favorite vacation was when I went to Alaska in the summer of 2019.

Fact #15- I started playing magic the gathering with my family last year and I now have 9 commander decks!

Fact #14- I love to read and my favorite genres are science fiction, dystopia, fantasy, and speculative fiction with a dash of horror!

Fact #13- I love abstract fluid arts because I can’t have a set image in my head of what I want it to be, and have to let the inks and paint do their own thing!

Fact #11- My campus job in college was being the osteoscriber for the mammalogy lab!

Fact #10- my mom was a florist and landscape designer and it means I have a love of growing flowers in my yard!

Ha! I already messed up my numbers! Fact #9? The fist time I ever went truly camping was a class in college where we camped for 2 weeks in Big Bend national park in Texas doing a birding study!

I married my high school sweetheart! We’ve been together since 1999!

Fact #6- I really love penguins!

Fact #6- I have had 7 cats in my adult life. Tali, Onyx, Ember, and Coal have passed and we have Moe, Rocky, and Jules now.

Fact #5- I was into art when I was young, but it was my mom who got me into fluid art and inks as an adult!

Fact #4- I have never broken a bone!

Fact #3- I lack binocular fusion in my eyes and only focus with one at a time, which means the other one does lazy eye things lol!

Fact #2- I was a veterinary technician for 15 years before I started Works of Whimsy!

Fact- I have a bachelor’s degree in biology!!
