Not sure if this will hold and if it'll end up being his official role, but Brandon Sanderson is listed as Showrunner for The Stormlight Archive tv series project on IMDB

Brandon confirmed he will be a co-show runner. He spoke about this on his weekly update on his YouTube channel. My guess is this way there will be an experience TV show runner/writer to bring their knowledge of show production while Brandon brings his knowledge of long form storytelling.

That's good to hear. Honestly would have been hard to believe even he would think he could put on that hat with no significant experience to speak of.

Terrifying tbh. Nothing worries me about this show like his high level of involvement..

The best case scenario of this is Neil Druckmann and TLOU, but imo that only worked because they did a direct translation of a story that was already TV shaped. The likely outcome is he gets fired because he has no chill and can't compromise, or s1 is wildly expensive, bad, and the adaptation stops

He said he's going to be the showrunner but they will look for a co-showrunner.

Gotta assume it's going to be a co-showrunner thing.
