The in-form Dudeney extended her winning run to seven matches as she booked a last eight spot in the World Tennis Tour W100 event at Wrexham Tennis & Padel Centre, with Klugman, another current British top 10 player, and Burrage then joining her as they made it a hat-trick of British winners on a successful day. Dudeney, who will next face French player Elsa Jacquemot, got the better of seventh seed Susan Bandecchi from Switzerland 6-3, 6-7, 6-4 in a match lasting two hours and 51 minutes.
