Spends whole life dedicated to his art form and it’s summed up with one line of copy!

😭😭

I'll remember him for "Wild at Heart".

One of a very rare breed of directors that had us reflecting on his themes (and scenes) many years after the fact..... An extraordinary man.

There are are good crazy and bad crazy- he was definitely good crazy. One of the best 🖤

creative genius!

Stay strange ,RIP

That's so sad. He was so immense and still had so much to do. What a terrible day.

David would have been 79 on Monday. He thought he'd skip the cake and go straight to the next realm rather than see a felon become president. And i don't blame him❤️

✨🕯️✨

Very sad moment for the all film industry 😞

Rest In Peace

Wrong 78 year old man.

Too damn bad. That's too young. 🪦🙏 💐

No one needs $70,000,000

RIP we already miss you.

The wrong 78-year-old man died. An great artist who only twisted reality on film has been taken from us at a time when we need our visionaries most.

How TF does Trump stay alive longer than people who are actually actually talented and useful to the human condition? The fact that he keeps waking up each morning unharmed and remembering to feed himself is alarming and it boggles the mind.

A singular vision! I worked in the theater where we held the Canadian premier of Eraserhead. There were three showings in one crazy evening, then I was locked in the theatre alone to do repairs. Creepiest night of my life!
