Also fascinating how in English, it is happy to talk about Taiwan on its own, but in Chinese it always insists that Taiwan is a province of China.

That's exactly what I figure! It is just funny, especially when asking the same question in Chinese to, say, ChatGPT, it will call Taiwan a country haha
