I'm reading that 52% of the voting public just didn't fucking vote. Handed a supermajority to one party by just... not being fucking bothered to show up.

Yeah we can put this one on Eby, he intended to take advantage of a collapsing opposition party but should have backed off when their leader quit and instead plowed through. The general public was mad about the unnecessary election but the Con voters showed up.
