I'm happy to announce the launch of malpais.app, a free NEXRAD/TDWR radar viewer that lives in your browser. malpais downloads Level 2 or Level 3 data from NOAA's Open Data Dissemination archives and renders it in WebGL on your desktop or mobile device. For free.

Hi Rob! Could you add in Canada to the map even without any Canada radar stations? I can't see the lakes or the provinces at all because of it being just the CONUS map overlayed.

Ok, I've added CA/MX provinces and the Great Lakes polygons to the map layers for our users in the borderlands. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks so much! I really like it but just found it hard to see where storms were using the NEXRAD radars (they're in range for most areas within 100 miles of the border of the US if there's a radar nearby). So thank you very much Rob!
