I have been talking with a friend on discord about the reason why I decided to leave the Phase 2 discord server since they were confused, I just replied with "popularity-based discrimination" (1/?)

Like, in other shinyhunting communities, when I talk about projects that I'm making and am excited about everyone is respectful to me, but when I do it specifically in either Phase 2 or Team Showdown I get scolded because of "Self Promo" (2/?)

Honestly all of this made me realize some stuff about myself. I am currently a small niche shinyhunting streamer that is about to hit 1k followers. I like making friends with my audience. I like meeting new people. I like being treated for who I am. (4/5)

I don't want to lose those privileges, I don't want to be forced to stop socializing with meeting new people. I am afraid of being recognized as a popular person because if that happens then everyone will start to treat me in an insincere "nice" way. I am afraid of growth (5/5)
