Ford pioneered many Trump strategies: lie til it becomes truth, bully opponents, eliminate transparency mechanisms, distraction to avoid accountability, use bizman cred to appeal to working class while delivering only for the rich, corrupt infrastructure & real estate deals.They've lots in common.

And journalism hasn't figured out how to hold him to account any better than they've figured out how to deal with Trump in the US. Both remain teflon leaders with all the power.

Oh yeah, one more thing Ford & Trump have in common: they're both working to destroy the US/Ontario, while saying they're trying to save it. Prolly so corporations (Trump-owned in Trump's case) can swoop in & privatize/own everything. Which makes their fight over Lake Ontario very interesting:

In the context of Ford's airport/spa/Island/TO takeover & Trump's insecure bullying, they seem to be competing to see who can control & destroy the Lake first. The dynamic feels like a couple of misogynistic & abusive men fighting over a woman whose autonomy they choose to ignore & strip away...
