What if you have an older device that won't update to something that new? Any options?

Useful context: iPhone 11 and newer already got this CoreGraphics fix in iOS 26.7.1 on Sep 28. 18.7.11 brings it to the XS, XS Max, XR and iPad 7th gen, which can't run iOS 26, so those owners should update tonight.
