One of my greatest pet peeves is when vampire movies use the lateral incisors for fangs instead of the canines.

Where does Kurt Barlow stand, then?

I classify him and the likes of Count Orlok under a different sub-species. Their appearance and fang position are consistent, so it gets a pass.
