Speaking of feedback - I much prefer the kind of support request that ends up leading to a great new feature, like the one in the latest update of @getdashlet.app A user asked if there was quick link support for configuring a data source or widget. #buildInPublic #dev #swift #iOS

Dashlet - Widgets for any Data@getdashlet.app

✨ Dashlet 1.8 is here! Set up a widget from a link: send someone a data source, or a whole widget, and it opens filled in. Your tokens never travel with it. --- https://getdashlet.app/changelog.html#1.8 #iOS #indiedev #appstore #swift #swiftUI

So, now there is - a universal link and deeplink schema for launching Dashlet with a predefined config - with all the documentation. https://docs.getdashlet.app/setup-links.html And users can even share links for their configurations directly from the app - secrets automatically omitted.

docs.getdashlet.appSetup Links: DashletA link that opens Dashlet with a data source filled in. Share your own setup, or publish one for the people using your service.

This, for example is a config link that would configure a widget refreshing the number of stars the swiftlang/swift repo has. https://getdashlet.app/add?url=https://api.github.com/repos/swiftlang/swift&name=Swift%20repo&widget=value&size=small&path=stargazers_count
