I got 2 of the 32" Samsung Odyssey G70D a few months back because Samsung was doing one of their crazy sales that are probably just the proper retail pricing, and they're pretty good but they also have so many weird issues.

For one, there's a really noticeable "grid" pattern when it's displaying anything, and I have no idea why. I've messed with all the image settings but I can only make it worse and not better. There's also no DDC support, even though Odyssey monitors are supposed to have it at least with HDMI.

The "going into standby" screen is an obnoxious bright blue background that takes 60 seconds to go away. I don't see a way to just go to standby immediately. It also does a CRT-style animation when it receives a signal, which also can't be turned off.

I got them ridiculously cheap so it's not too big a deal, but it's still just such a strange display.
